I'm Erica, a bit of a wanderer, wildlife enthusiast and, when I'm back in the UK, I call a caravan home. The closer to nature I am - the happier I am.

I've taken a few unexpected turns in life, tried my hand at different things and never quite followed the conventional path. But if there's one thing I've learnt, it's that some of the best experiences come from just going with the flow and enjoying the journey.

After all, the journey is the destination, right?.

My love of wildlife and adventure eventually took me to East Africa, where I discovered that Africa isn't nearly as scary as the media portrays it to be. In fact, I've never felt more looked after!

Spoiler alert - East Africans are feeders - you have been warned!!

And that's really how Safari With Erica came about. Not from years behind a travel agency desk, but from getting out there, experiencing it for myself and making genuine connections with some wonderful people along the way.

These days, I help others discover that same magic by introducing them to the local guides and operators I've personally travelled with and come to trust. Helping someone discover the magic of Africa for the first time is something truly special, and really that's why I'm in this business - to inspire people to rest in the natural beauty of the world- as this is where I found peace - I think you will too.
